The academic year has begun in Lebanon, but in the south, schools are serving a dual role as classrooms and shelters for more than 20,000 displaced people.
Correspondent Zeina Khodr reports from schools where children are returning to their studies alongside families who have lost their homes to Israeli airstrikes. Many students and teachers have also been displaced by the fighting.
For children such as Haidar Amash and Zahra Ali Amash, returning to school brings happiness but also painful memories of homes and belongings left behind. Displaced residents describe continuing to live with fear of further attacks.
As hundreds of thousands remain displaced, education is taking place alongside the daily struggle for safety and shelter.
